My programming journey began back in late 2016 when I randomly picked up a C# textbook and began coding as a hobby. A few years later I would make an exciting decision to pivot into the game industry and after a short period back in school am now working as an associate technical artist at Electronic Arts. As I continue to move forward and push my abilities I'm driven every day to learn something new and to continually polish my skill set.
Artist
In general, I see myself as an all-around creative person. Growing up I was involved with various artistic pursuits. I am a classically trained pianist, composer and former teacher who holds a Bachelor of Musical Arts from the University of Western Ontario. I have found it nearly impossible to not be drawn into the artistic aspects of game development. I enjoy tinkering with different art software and attempting to combine both my programmatic and artistic skills.
